8 TON FURNACES IN OPERATION IN SUMMY CENTROLIT & LLMZ / UKRAINE

Situation : In operation since July 2005.

LLMZ is the biggest iron foundry, which produce radiators in Ukraine and CIS counties. This company started to work in November 1933. For present times management is providing equipment modernization. During last four years plant changed melting, molding, controlling equipment. The all process are automated and done high productivity.
The products are supplying inside of Ukraine and European countries.

JSC TSENTROLIT
SUMY / UKRAINE

System : 5 MW – 2x8 ton (10 ton gray iron per hour). Melt & Hold System.
ITMK 4000 – 2x2 ton (grey iron)

Situation : EGP 8000S in operation since November 2005.
ITMK 4000 in operating since November 2003

2 ton furnaces have been delivered in November 2004 and was installed in November 2005. It has been in operation since than. This is the second installation to Sumy after 2 ton furnaces installed in 2003, as second hand.

One of the biggest foundries in Ukraine. The plant produces high-quality iron, steel, brass castings. During last years are done great investments into melting, moulding, core making equipment. This company is very closely working with Ukrainian State Railway Ministry. There are so many orders also from Germany.



SUCCESSFUL DISA EGES COOPERATION FOR MJ FOUNDRY/CZECH

System : 3 MW – 2x 4 ton Melt & Hold system.

Situation : In operation since July 2005.

The company belongs under MOTOR JIKOV GROUP which consists of four South Bohemian engineering and foundry joint-stock companies.It follows up on the more than century-old tradition of grey alloy casting. Casts have been produced in the factory premises since the year 1899.The newly-established company follows in the tradition of grey iron casting, extending over more than one hundred years. Iron casting has been performed on the company's premises since as early as 1899. Several times, the buildings and the technology within the plan have been modernised. In 1995 a new modern snap moulding line DISAMATIC was installed and in year 2004 it was replaced with a new more effective line of the same manufacturer with a bigger size of the moulding box. In 2005 Melting shop is modernised with Cutting Edge technology 4 ton capacity Eges furnaces with DISA cooperation.

The key commodity of the today's business is the production and sale of ductile cast iron, grey cast iron, patterns, and heat treatment. Two thirds of the company's products are exported, especially to Italy and Germany.


DOZAMET/POLAND 2.5 MW 2 x 4 ton MELT & HOLD system in operation since August 2005

Eges is honoured to equipt DOZAMET foundry equipment producer’s new melting shop with its state of the art technology furnaces.

Dozamet has almost a 200-year-old tradition of casting iron products established in 1827 is the leading Polish manufacturer of plants and machinery which constitute the basic equipment of foundries. Their machines combine rich experience in mechanization and automatization of moulding processes as well as the latest world achievements in this field. The production range of Dozamet includes machines which can be installed in small, medium and large foundries. It produces 50 kinds of typical machines, not to mention moulding stands, automatic moulding lines, sand plants, shot-blasting stations and many other units.



7.5 MW 15 ton system in operation since Oct 2005 in SMS Foundry.SAmsun/Turkey

EGES has installed second 4 MW – 6 ton system to Samsun Makina Sanayi in June 2004. They already have 6 EGES induction melting furnace systems with capacities of 1 to 6 tons. Total power are installed system is 21 MW and total melted liquid metal is 40 ton per hour net. The SMS management chose EGES for their new requirement in recognition of their past experience with regard to reliability of performance and cost effective after sales support. SMS occupies a leading position as a casting producer in Samsun-Turkey and Black Sea territory. The castings of the integral plant reach from simple to high quality castings in the range of the individual weight from 1 to 9000 kg. In year 2004 with a new investment SMS started to produce centrifugal ductile iron pipes up to 1000 mm diameter. The capacity is 50.000 ton/year. These pipe factory have 2 x 6 ton capacity EGES furnaces to melt 18 ton ductile iron per hour.

ANKIROS & ANNOFER (09-12.11.2006)

Minsk Tractor Works(MTW) is now running faster with the ability to have high quality casting products with their new EGES induction melting system. With two UM 5000 model, 5000 kW converters and three EGP 6000S, with 6 ton nominal- 8 ton maximum capacity furnaces MTW
is now able to get 18 tons of molten metal per hour. Looks like more people will desire to work in MTW on these cold days of Bellaruissa as the molten metal continously poures from the spout of the giant EGES furnace.
