    Modernisation of Induction Furnaces
    Another of EGES' successful services for casting industries is modernization of induction furnaces. EGES modernise and transforms the Line frequency.

    (50 Hz) furnaces to Medium Frequency furnaces. EGES also replaces old fashion MF converters to a new generation MF converters. During modernisation of MF system Line Frequency (50 Hz) furnace body, and if possible furnace coils are being utilised. Existing cooling system and hydraulics are also integrated to the system.

    By the modernisation the customers can save up to 40% in investment cost and increase molten metal capacity almost double depending of the application.

    Continuous Steel Sheet Heating Systems For Galvanization Lines

    Galvanized coil production was made for continuous galvanic lines and with hot dipping method in some companies such as Assan, Demirsaç Galvanize etc.

    After surface cleaning and before the hot dripping of the units EGES suppies special "MF Induction Continious steel sheet heating system" The steel sheets can be of various thickness and width.



    Pipe Heating Systems

    EGES has installed a Pipe heating system in a leading pipe producer company MANNESMAN in Turkey. Mannesmann produces longitudinally and spirally welded pipes across a broad product range that includes general-purpose pipes, galvanised water pipes, boiler tubes, square and rectangular tubes, gas pipes, precision tubes, water, oil and natural gas line pipes and pipes with protective coating and lining.

    The main aim of the heating system is to heat up to 3200 mm diameter pipes before protective coating and lining. EGES supply Induction heating system which consists of two heating stations working together. The first station is a 600 kW converter and a pipe heating coil and the second station is a 1000 kW converter and a pipe heating coils. In the first station the pipes are heated between 0 - 100 ºC, on the second station the pipes are heated between 80-240 ºC
